Subscriptions and Credits

EquiiText is a credit-based system. This means that rather than paying solely for texts on any given subscription, a user is also paying for virtual numbers each month (either/or local and toll-free numbers), the cost of scrubbing lists of landlines, Do-Not-Call numbers, caller IDs, and carrier lookups.

These amounts factor into our calculations as we work to determine which subscription amount is right for you and your company. It is important for us to know how many contacts you plan to send messages to, how many campaign messages you plan to send each month, and how many automatic responders you will most likely need to reply to incoming text messages.

Credit Cost Breakdown

‍The cost of one local virtual number each month is 100 credits.
• The cost of one toll-free number each month is 500 credits.
• The cost to send a SMS message to each contact recipient is 2 credits.
• The cost to send an MMS message to each contact recipient is 5 credits.
• The cost for each inbound SMS message is 1 credit.
• The cost to send one auto-responder is 1 credit.
• The cost to send a message from the inbox to a single recipient is 1 credit.
• The cost to scrub each number for landlines, DNCs, caller IDs, and carriers is 1 credit.

The cost-per-credit goes down with each higher subscription, meaning a user on the Pay-As-You-Go
subscription will pay $0.015 per credit, whereas a user on the highest subscription level of 10 million
credits will pay a per-credit amount of $0.0035.
